Welcome to Freeland Fitness. I’m Brent.

I started Freeland Fitness in 2013 after achieving my own weight loss goals four years prior. After dropping over 75 pounds and 16 inches from my waist, I knew I wanted to make a career out of helping others do the same. I wanted to give people the tools to live a long, healthy, independent life. I wanted to show people the strength they never knew they had. I love science, so after pursuing my personal training certification with the American Council on Exercise, I also pursued studies in exercise physiology. I currently have a BS in human performance with a concentration in exercise physiology and an MS in exercise physiology and nutrition from the University of Tampa. Go Spartans!

I have been in the fitness industry for 10 years and hold several certifications.

    Our one-on-one personal training is the perfect solution for those who want the most personalized and focused fitness experience. Our certified personal trainers work with each client to create a tailored workout program that meets their unique needs, goals, and fitness level. They provide hands-on guidance, encouragement, and support to help clients reach their full potential and achieve their fitness goals.

  • Small Group Training

    Small Group training is a dynamic and motivating fitness experience that provides the benefits of personal training in a fun and social setting. These groups consist of 2-4 people and are perfect for people that want the guidance and expertise of a personal trainer for a less expensive price. Our certified trainers lead a group of like-minded individuals through challenging and varied workout routines that are designed to deliver results. The energy and camaraderie of a group setting encourages participants to push themselves further, providing a supportive and inclusive environment for growth and progress.

  • Nutrition Coaching

    Nutrition coaching at our facility is designed to help clients achieve their health and fitness goals through personalized nutrition planning. Our certified personal trainers work one-on-one with clients to assess their eating habits, estimate caloric needs, go over food logs and suggest healthier options, and provide ongoing support and guidance. Whether the goal is to lose weight, build muscle, improve athletic performance, or simply eat healthier, our coaches help clients make sustainable changes to their eating habits to support their overall health and well-being.

  • Mobility and Posture

    Many people struggle with chronic pain, mobility, or postural issues. Although we are not qualified to diagnose and chronic pain should be assessed by a medical professional, our team does work with clients to develop personalized exercise plans that help increase mobility, strength, and flexibility. This will result in better movement patterns, posture, and could decrease overall pain. With a focus on progress tracking and injury prevention, our services provide the support clients need to make a successful recovery and achieve their health and fitness goals.
